ROMELU LUKAKU’S REACTION TO ASTON VILLA TRANSFER NEWS ON DEADLINE DAY

Chelsea-owned Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has sent a message to Leander Dendoncker on Instagram following his move from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Aston Villa on the final day of the summer transfer window. Aston Villa competed the signing of Dendoncker from Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers on summer transfer deadline day. Lukaku, who moved to former Italian champions Inter on loan from Chelsea earlier this summer, has responded to Dendoncker’s post on Instagram, as you can see below.

The Chelsea-owned striker and 27-year-old Dendoncker, who can operate as a defender or as a defensive midfielder, play for the Belgium national football team. In our opinion, Leander Dendoncker is a good signing for Aston Villa and will make Steven Gerrard’s side stronger. That the Belgium international can play as a centre-back and in defensive midfield is going to be a boon for the Villans. Dendoncker did well for Wolves in the Premier League over the years, and he could hit the ground running at Villa Park. (more…)

LUKAKU BENCHED FOR FINAL LEAGUE GAME

Belgian striker RomeluLukaku was on the bench for the whole game as Chelsea needed a stoppage time goal to beat Watford at home thereby ending the season with a win.RomeluLukaku was one of several changes made from their penultimate league game of the season at home to Leicester City. The former Inter Milan and Manchester United star was in the starting XI for the 1-1 draw at home to Leicester City, but he didn’t find the back of the net. The point from the game sealed third spot for Chelsea.


RomeluLukaku has been in the spotlight for his poor form on his return to Chelsea last summer. The Belgian international sealed a return to Stamford Bridge in a club-record deal. Lukaku was signed from Italian team Inter Milan. (more…)

LUKAKU SUBBED ON AGAINST NORWICH CITY

Record-signing RomeluLukaku was only a substitute as Chelsea beat bottom team Norwich City to cement third place on the Premier League log. Big things were expected of RomeluLukaku when Chelsea paid around £98m to make him the most expensive signing in their history, but the Belgian international has not delivered till date.


RomeluLukaku had earlier spent some years as a Chelsea player on the back of his transfer to the West London club from Belgian top flight team Anderlecht as a teenager. He then moved on to clubs such as Everton, Manchester United and Inter Milan before returning to Stamford Bridge at the start of the current season. After a bright start in the opening weeks of the season, Lukaku suffered an ankle injury during the home game against Swedish champions Malmo FF in the Champions League and he has not remained the same since his return from the injury. Chelsea striker RomeluLukaku won’t be in the Carabao Cup quarterfinal squad to face West London rivals Brentfordas he continues to recover from Covid-19 that has plagued some of his teammates. Apart from RomeluLukaku, other Chelsea players such as Callum Hudson-Odoi, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz will also miss the Brentford game due to Covid-19.

Chelsea began the defence of their Champions League title on a winning note following the slim victory over Russian champions Zenit St. Petersburg. The Blues emerged as the reigning Champions League winners thanks to the slender 1-0 victory over Premier League holders Manchester City in the final of the competition last season courtesy the first half strike from German national team forward Kai Havertz. Chelsea won their home game against Zenit thanks to the second half header from RomeluLukaku.

Belgian international Lukaku has been in top form since his return to Stamford Bridge in the summer. He returned to Chelsea this summer after a seven-year spell at clubs such as Everton, Manchester United and Inter Milan. RomeluLukaku left the Blues for Everton on a season-long loan deal in the summer of 2013 before the move was made permanent in a £28m deal one year later. He spent three more years as an Everton player before Manchester United paid £75m for his services in 2017. Inter Milan then signed Lukaku for a fee believed to be around £74m two years ago. The Belgian national team all-time record goalscorer spent two years each at Manchester United and Inter Milan before sealing a move back to Chelsea in a £97m deal. (more…)

Inter Milan hitman RomeluLukaku is the alternative for Premier League giants Chelsea if they can’t sign number one target ErlingHaaland. This is according to Sky Sports Italia which stated that the Blues want to sign a new striker this summer and Borussia Dortmund star Haaland is their main target.

Chelsea are ready to snap up Norwegian international Haaland this summer as they are not ready to wait for competition next summer for the former Red Bull Salzburg player. There’s a release clause in his existing Dortmund contract which won’t be active until next summer.

CHELSEA CONTACT PLAYER OVER CLUB-RECORD DEAL

Champions League finalists Chelsea have reportedly contacted the agent of Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku over a potential club-record transfer for the player this summer. It was reported that the Blues want to re-sign the Belgian international whom they sold to Everton for £28m many years ago after his successful loan spell with the Toffees.

The future of Romelu Lukaku is in serious doubts at Inter Milan after title-winning manager Antonio Conte left the club earlier this week. Conte has been at loggerheads with the Inter owners for sometime dating back to the end of last season when he could have walked away. In the end, the Italian tactician stayed to oversee a first league title for the Nerazzuri since the treble-winning feat under Jose Mourinho in 2010. His exit came on the back of disagreements with the Inter Milan hierarchy over transfers and player recruitment.

The big Belgian turns up and scores massive goals both for his club and country, tearing the Italian league apart, as he keeps extending his record as Belgium’s all-time top scorer.
