The Toffees Find Romelu Lukaku Esque Player
Everton has got Romelu Lukaku as one of the most prolific and successful strikers seen in the recent past. Lukaku, who plays for Belgium national football team has a total of 87 goals to his name and has provided assistance in nearly 166 matches at Goodison Park. Just before his mega-money shift to Manchester United in the year 2017, the Belgian scored a total of 25 goals for Everton in the previous season and ended the second one with his name listed for the Golden Boots competition.

But unfortunately, the Toffees could not replace Lukaku because of poor decisions taken by the board, despite getting a massive amount of £75 million. He had shown some performances for the Toffees that could be compared with any of the players then. Cenk Tosun, Sandro Ramirez, Oumar Niasse, Yannick Bolasie-all proved to be unskilled against Lukaku. Though Dominic Calvert-Lewin could offer some respite as an emergency, it could not be hidden that they lacked behind in competitions.

Manchester United are ready for an offer from Inter Milan which would comprise of a proposal of loaning out Lukaku for 2 seasons for about £9 million prior to a guaranteed purchased for about £9 million prior to a guaranteed purchase of more £53.7 million. The offer might be rejected but it might start off a negotiation process. Inter and Manchester United are all set to face each other on 20th July in Singapore. However, whether the deal is possible then will depend on an acceptable offer made by the club. Inter Milan will have to sell Mauro Icardi for freeing space and cash on their wage bill for bringing in Romelu Lukaku.
However, many that have followed his career from his West Brom days would know that a lean and fully fit Lukaku is one of the fastest number 9 in the world. The 25-year-old has in recent weeks showed his best form under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer after looking like a shadow of himself for most parts of the season.
He said that Jose Mourinho was not the right man for the club as he feels that they were playing an unattractive brand of football. He said that United fans are used to seeing some attacking football and that under him Manchester United was turning into a boring team with some defensive football.
Warnock has remained associated with Football for a period of over 5 decades. He started his career as a player with Chesterfield in 1967 and then went on to play for 8 different clubs over a period of 12 years before hanging his boots. After retirement, he began his management career just a couple of years later and has already managed 17 teams so far, but he is no mood to stretch it any further and has dropped hints that he is looking to bid adieu to the game as a manager once he parts ways with Cardiff. Warnock’s current contract keeps him in the job till the conclusion of the 2018-19 Season.
Lukaku will go into this weekend’s game with four goals in the Premier League, one goal behind the Eden Hazard of Chelsea at the top of the standing, but has not had the completely smooth beginning. He has scored a goal in each of past two league matches of United. He scored both the goals in a win of 2-0 of 2nd September at Burnley and the other one in last in Watford, weekend with the score 2-1 victory.
However, Koeman seems not to be satisfied yet as he is still hoping to sign another striker. His main target at the moment is Jimenez. Benfica has gone ahead to inform Everton that they would let him off for a fee of £45 million.
